Privacy Policy
VIEW LLC, doing business as VIEW Social Productions ("VIEW", "we", "us", "our") provides social media management services to business clients. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and what choices you have regarding your information.
1. Who this policy applies to
This policy applies to:
- Clients — businesses and individuals who engage VIEW to manage their social media accounts.
- Connected social accounts — Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube accounts that clients explicitly authorize VIEW to access through official OAuth flows.
- Website visitors — anyone who visits viewsocialproductions.com.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide directly
- Contact information (name, email, business name, phone) when you sign up or contact us.
- Billing information processed by our payment provider — we never store full card numbers.
- Content you upload to our platform (images, videos, captions, hashtags) for the purpose of scheduling and publishing on your behalf.
- Brand guidelines, voice preferences, and content strategy documents you share with us.
2.2 Information we receive from social platforms when you connect an account
When you authorize VIEW to manage a social account, the platform provides us with:
- Access tokens — short-lived and long-lived OAuth tokens that allow VIEW to act on your behalf within the scopes you approved. We never receive or store your password.
- Account identifiers — your numeric Instagram Business ID, Facebook Page ID, TikTok Open ID, or YouTube Channel ID.
- Public profile information — username, display name, profile picture, follower counts, and basic account metadata.
- Content metadata — IDs, timestamps, captions, and media references for posts published through our platform.
- Performance metrics — impressions, reach, engagement, video views, and similar insights returned by each platform's analytics API for the accounts you connect.
2.3 Information we collect automatically
- Standard web server logs (IP address, user agent, request paths, timestamps) used for security and debugging.
- We do not use third-party advertising trackers or sell tracking data.
3. How we use this information
- To publish content to social accounts you have explicitly connected and authorized.
- To schedule posts according to your approved content calendar.
- To generate performance reports and dashboards for your engagement.
- To improve our internal content production tools when training or evaluating with anonymized aggregated data.
- To communicate with you about your account, billing, and our services.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We do not use your data, your content, or your audience's data to train third-party AI models, sell to advertisers, or share with marketing partners.
4. How we store and protect your data
- Data is stored on infrastructure operated or rented by VIEW from reputable cloud providers, located in the United States.
- Access tokens are encrypted at rest. They are accessible only to authorized VIEW staff and to the production application that publishes content on your schedule.
- All connections between your browser, our platform, and social platform APIs are protected by HTTPS/TLS.
- Access to production systems is restricted to VIEW founders and authenticated through individual credentials.
- We follow industry-standard practices for incident response. If a breach affects your data, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.
5. Third-party platforms and services
VIEW integrates with the following third parties to deliver its services:
- Meta Platforms, Inc. — Facebook Login and Instagram Graph API are used to authenticate connections and publish to Instagram Business and Creator accounts. Use of data received from Meta is also subject to Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies.
- TikTok — TikTok Login Kit and Content Posting API are used to authenticate connections and publish video to TikTok accounts.
- Google LLC — Google OAuth and the YouTube Data API are used to authenticate connections and upload content to YouTube channels. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- Cloud hosting and storage providers — used to host the application and store media files. These providers process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.
- Email and customer communication tools — used to communicate with clients about their accounts.
Information held by these providers is also governed by their respective privacy policies.
6. Sharing of information
We do not sell your information. We share information only:
- With service providers (hosting, storage, email) who process data strictly on our behalf.
- With social platforms, as required to publish your authorized content.
- If required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of VIEW, our clients, or others.
- In connection with a business transfer (merger, acquisition, asset sale), with notice to affected clients.
7. Your rights and choices
- Access and correction — you can request a copy of personal data we hold about you, or ask us to correct inaccuracies.
- Deletion — you can request deletion of your data at any time. See our Data Deletion Instructions.

8. Data retention
We retain your information only as long as necessary to provide our services and to meet legal obligations:
- Active client account data is retained while the engagement is active.
- Upon termination, account data and access tokens are deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., billing records).
- Public content metrics and aggregated, anonymized performance data may be retained longer to improve our internal tools.
9. Children
Our services are intended for businesses and individuals 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
